Rimmel Kate moss matte lipstick ~ 110/Vibrant coral
My love affair with orange/coral lipsticks shows no sign of receding. They have become a staple in my makeup collection and I have managed to score some winners from Mac, Nyx, YSL and Sleek. The newest addition to the fam is this lovely shade by Kate moss. It has a matte finish but it is not too drying on the lips. The staying power is decent and I love how it instantly gives my face a lift.
Kate's lipstick collection really surprised me, in fact, it deserves an award... will blog about it much later. P.S. I know a lot of people shudder at the thought of wearing orange lippies but I honestly believe there is a shade to suit everyone. You just have to find it!
Kleenex shine absorbing sheets
I've got oily skin and this outstanding creation takes me from greasy to crisp in one quick step. It rubs out the shine without ruining my makeup and so it is great for on-the-spot touch ups.
This is the cheapest and best oil blotting set I know. It is £2.99 in Superdrug and I highly recommend it! You can thank me later! :D
Elie Saab Le Parfum
I got this as a pressie, it came in a nice set (body lotion and shower cream) and I heart it so much! I spray it every now and then and I get compliments whenever I wear it. Exquisite stuff!
Now this is the best thing that happend to me and my vanity table since April 2013. I tossed out the make-up sponges, turned a blind eye to the beauty blender and raised this piece of art to the heavens in thanksgiving (Lmfao! Yes it's that serious)! Designed by pro makeup artist Samantha Chapman, this brush is perfect for applying cream or liquid foundation. It is soft, easy to use and it gives you a flawless finish.
The handle is sturdy and the brush can even stand on its own. I've been hearing about real techniques brushes for a while now and I decided to try them. Oh! so worth the hype. I got the core collection, stippling brush, blush brush, starter kit and of course my favourite, the expert face brush. I know it was created for foundation but this brush is such a multitasker. It is fab enough for applying powder, blush, bronzer, eerthang!
You can get it from beauty stores worldwide and if you are in Nigeria you can get yours from 'My Makeup Cosmetics' (I need to do a post on these ladies! they are naija's finest beauty solution providers).
Maybelline forever strong ~ Rose Poudre
My nail polish collection is overflowing with vivid and eye popping colours and this rose nude varnish is just a breath of fresh air. That's the thing about nudes, they are refreshing, modish, and timeless. This is my first nail polish from Maybelline and I love, love, love it! It compliments my skin tone nicely and gives me a groomed look.
So thats it folks! I'll be sharing my dearest beauty products from time to time. Meanwhile, has anyone tried the named products? I'm eager to know your experience with each one.
In other news, who attended the Lagos make up fair on Sunday? I hear it was grand! Abuja makeup fair coming soon? anyone? Errr...ok...till then...
Stay beautiful mi lovelies!
